Research Data Alliance (RDA) is an international organization created with support from the U.S. and European agencies to standardize data practices and enable data sharing without barriers. I was first introduced to RDA when one of the PhD students from our research group won the coveted RDA project fellowship. Since my ultimate goal is to join the data science workforce, I immediately got attracted toward the organization and decided to submit my application for the 2018 project fellowship award.
